In Praise of Shadows with Lucy Willow

Thinking about shadows as both a grief-centric concept, and as a sculptural presence informed by light, participants were asked to think of the shadow or shadows of their departed loved ones, thinking about their presence to create the shadow in a physical form. Responses could be drawn, made three dimensionally, filmed, recorded using spoken word, creative writing, sound, or in any other way chosen to interpret the idea of the shadow of the dead and how they cast a shape in and around, or perhaps informing practice.

Recording mark making, these were discussed during the online session.
